Horatio Membership

From the beginning the organization has tried to get contacts from all nations in Europe. In the search for national associations or organization for psychiatric nurses, it became clear that a minority of nations have dedicated organizations as such. This brought us to the point that only a very limited number of nations could apply for membership. While taking this into consideration, we also noted that some nations without such a national structure were in the process of creating a specific organization. Based on feedback from contacts it is foreseen that within a of year or two, the number of full members will be doubled and we will have several candidate members. This is very important because Horatio has it’s aim to represent nurses throughout Europe, no nation should be excluded. It is in the interest of Horatio to have representation from every nation or region and through those representatives there will be an abundance of experience and knowledge that truly represents all nurses. Horatio will in turn do it’s very best to support national activities by facilitating self –development.

National psychiatric nursing organizations and sections of psychiatric nursing within national nursing organizations can apply for Full Membership. Nations without such organizations but who are in the process of developing can apply for Candidate Membership. Other individual persons or organizations can apply for Associated Membership.

Membership fees

• Full Membership: € 300 annually
• Candidate Membership: € 200 annually
• Organizational Associated Membership: € 150 annually
• Individual Associated Membership: € 50 annually

To become a associated member download this invoice (doc 25 Kb), print it and return it as an attachment by e-mail. After your payment is received you will be notified about your membership.
